Stardex Innovation ("Stardex", "we", "us") is a global AI product company. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use stardex.co and related services. Our contact details appear at the end of this page.
What information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit forms (contact, consulting enquiries, waitlists, or newsletter signup), we collect the fields you enter — for example name, email, company, and message content.
Information collected automatically. When you browse our site, servers and analytics tools may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location, pages viewed, and timestamps.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and local storage where necessary for security, preferences, and — if you consent — analytics. See our Cookie Policy for a detailed list.
How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries, waitlist requests, and consulting leads.
- To send transactional messages (for example confirmations or service notices).
- To send marketing emails such as our newsletter only where you have clearly opted in.
- To measure how the site is used, improve content and product decisions, and debug issues (including PostHog and similar tools when consented).
- To monitor reliability and security, including error reporting (for example Sentry).
Data retention
Waitlist records are kept until the relevant product launches or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first, unless a longer period is required for legitimate business or legal reasons.
Consulting and contact enquiries are typically retained for up to three years for follow-up and legal defence.
Newsletter subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe, after which we remove you from active mailing lists within a reasonable period.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@stardex.co. We will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
International transfers
Stardex operates globally. Your information may be processed in Nigeria and in other countries where our processors host infrastructure (including the United States and the European Economic Area). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Children's privacy
Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may be highlighted on the site or communicated where appropriate.
